| During the past half century Milco has rendered invaluable service in fulfilling the milk requirement of people of this country while maintaining its pride as a Sri Lankan organization. It is my belief that Milco will move forward with a new velocity in response to the efforts taken by the present government in consideration of the fact that it is the responsibility and duty of the government to safe-guard and improve Milco.
This company, in addition to implementing its commercial and business objectives and acting with a broad understanding of its responsibility to its society, has taken giant strides towards up liftment of the livelihood of milk farmers engaged in the milk production field of the country.
Every effort has already been taken by the government to ensure the future security of Milco (Pvt) Ltd which has been the leader in the field of milk production, having successfully overcome severe competition with multinationals in the industry.
It is my sincere wish that Milco (Pvt) Ltd will be able to reach/achieve its aims and targets through this giant stride whereby it will be able to show the entire world the pride that it has sustained during the last 5 decades. |
