The Digana Milk Factory (DMF) was established in 1987 and as at present, manufactures many a number of Highland product range such as yoghurt, cheese, Ice cream, Curd, Sterilized milk, Pasteurized milk etc.
Initially the staff strength of DMF was 55 and processed 4000 – 5000 liters per day. By now the staff strength is increased to 230 and processes around 11,000 liters per day.
